Keep on going

The world will keep on going, no matter what happens. Whether you had the best day of your life or the worst day of your life, eventually that moment will be over. When people think about moving on, they often feel that it will be impossible and that they are stuck in a hole, with no escape. It's hard to see in a bright future when you feel like crap. At the end of “Champion of the World” by Maya Angelou, She says, "It wouldn't be fit for a Black man and his family to be caught on a lonely country road." She writes this to hint to the hardships that lay ahead; that there will be discrimination and hatred put upon them in the years to come. But just like how Joe Louis won his match, she will persevere through racism and finally feel equal. Each and every one of us face this too. Our daily lives are struggles. We have to wake up early to go to school or work to make money so we can feed ourselves and put a roof over our heads and go keep relations with the family and friends and ignore all the annoying, weird, and awful people around us and find somebody to start a family with and have kids and raise them right and see them grow up and see yourself grow old and sooner of later will die. All this seems daunting and as a teenager, and it's hard to stay motivated. But it is not about where you end, it is about the journey that takes you there. You shouldn't think about the problems that you will have to endure throughout your life, but think of how you will push on and motivate yourself to keep on going. Bruce lee once said, "Do not pray for an easy life, pray for the strength to endure a difficult one." Life will go on no matter what happens, will you stay on for the crazy ride?
